Lamb Of God

Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Readiness

Milwaukee, WI (March 14, 2020)—The Lamb of God Baptist Church aims to increase the spiritual health of God’s people while also showing care for their social, emotional and physical well-being. During this time of the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) contagion, we want our members to remain safe and are putting a series of interventions at work for a safer environment on our campus.

As a spiritual community, it’s important that we lead with faith and not fear. The Bible says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.” (Philippians 4:6a NLT). Now is the time to pray, prepare, plan but NOT panic.

Wisconsin state officials suggest that crowd gatherings do not exceed 250 persons. While we have on occasion had more than 250 persons in worship, our average Sunday morning worship size is below 250. We will continue to hold worship services as an outlet of hope in the face of pervasive despair. Additionally, we will begin streaming our worship services! To connect, log on to Facebook.com/TheLambMKE. This is a great time to Invite family and friends to connect to us on Facebook to help prevent the emotional disturbance from the lack of connection and the onset of sudden isolation.

In consideration of our continued on-campus convening, we encourage the following practices:

While these are, in fact, unprecedented times, we believe this too shall pass. Much of our daily living is either halted or cancelled to mitigate the spread of Covid-19. Our church community will step up and do our part while also leading to mitigate the stress and distress of sudden and severe disruption.

We will continue to provide updates based on the fluidity of the situation and new information that emerges. Meanwhile, please continue to pray for those who are infected and greatly impacted by the new reality facing our society.

May God continue to bless us all as we continue to put our faith and trust in Him.
